New Year Resolution

Between my mom's computer and my own we have hundreds of photos to add to our memorials. Some were taken in 2009. That is ridiculous. My resolution this year is to add them all and hopefully finish adding all of Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. My future resting place. I will slip into eternity (I hope) and will be buried in the Garden of Serenity. How am I so sure. I have it as a preneed. Some people make car payments and I make plot payments.

Hello ~ Welcome to my F-A-G Blog

Hello,

Most likely you find yourself at this web page because you clicked on the link on my Find A Grave profile.
Find A Grave is very enjoyable for me but lately the fun has diminished.
I do this all alone and receive a lot of emails with corrections for memorials. I try to make the corrections, additions etc... in a prompt manner but LIFE interferes and I get behind. I  receive up to 50 emails a month and sometimes close to 500 as I did these last few months. I do my best but it seems my best is not good enough. This is a hobby that I take very seriously but it's not my job. I do this in my free time and lately it has been less and less free time. I have been busy with family matters and my own issues beyond my control.
I am not always in the mood to check emails so when I get a message where my commitment to my contributions is questioned, I get ticked. I might not read my messages as fast as I should. I am not going to make myself sicker. If I am not in the mood I will not do it. I have health that is failing me. Might get better but doubtful.  I do this with all my emails, not only the ones with corrections. I am not ignoring Find A Grave members while checking all other emails. It is for everyone. Someone brought up me adding flowers on memorials. I have family members who enjoy leaving flowers on my memorials so it is not always me leaving them. My TIME is to do as I SEE FIT. If I rather put flowers on memorials than check emails it is my business. I don't get paid for this. It is all done in my FREE time. I enjoy leaving flowers while most corrections though appreciated are tedious.
I do not always have Internet connection so that means I don't check my emails during those times. I am not trying to be a b-t-h but the message I received really peeved me.
Well, I better go. If I have time to blog I should have time to make my corrections.
Peace & Love,
Jess A.
